Lesson Options and Fees
Lessons at Noosa Horse Riding consist of a combination of flatwork and poles or jumping.
Please note that riders must be at least 11 years of age, and have a riding level of at least advanced beginner - able to confidently walk, trot, and steer in a large arena. We do not provide instruction for beginners. We have a weight limit of 80kg.
All lessons are provided by the term that aligns with the 10-week public school term. Over the summer holiday, we offer some spaces for visitors wanting to take a series of lessons.
Riders wanting to join the Eventing Academy must first have a trial lesson to ensure a good fit.
Trial Lessons
A trial lesson allows the rider to learn more about our lesson style and to meet our horses before committing to the term. For less advanced or younger riders, we recommend a 30-min trial. For more advanced riders and adults, we recommend a 45-min trial.

Holiday Camps
In between school terms, we offer 3-day riding camps for a limited number of students. These are day camps and students can use one of our horses or bring their own.

10-Week Term
Our 45-minute private lesson by the term is ideal for those wanting one-on-one instruction.

Cross Country Clinics
Cross Country Clinics are generally 3-hours long and include a classroom portion and a ridden portion. The purpose of these clinics is to introduce riders and/or horses to the cross country phase of eventing
1-Hour Group Lesson
10-Week Term
Our 60-min group lessons are great for those who enjoy riding with and learning from others. We encourage most riders to join our group lessons as we find students advance more rapidly when they can watch another rider. Group lessons are limited to 3 riders per lesson to ensure quality.
